Nanawagan ng maayos na pagseserbisyo, integridad at reporma ang nagtapos na class valedictorian mula sa Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).
Maliban sa pagiging class valedictorian sa kursong Master of Public Management, pinarangalan din si Mark Anthony M. Artis, PhD bilang With Highest Honors at Best Master’s Thesis.
“Ang pagtatapos na ito ay hindi lamang akademikong tagumpay. Ito ay panunumpa sa propesyonal at panlipunang pananagutan. We are not spectators of reform. We are its catalysts,” aniya.
Si Artis ay tubong Gonzaga, Cagayan at empleyado ng DepEd – SDO Cagayan. Kasalukuyan din siyang nagtuturo sa Cagayan State University – Aparri.
Saad pa niya, ang tagumpay ay hindi nasusukat sa tagumpay bagkus ay nakikita kung papaano mo maiuugnay ito sa ethical leadership at genuine public service.

Matagal ko itong pinangarap: ang magsalita sa entablado bilang valedictorian. There has always been a quiet part of me striving to do better—not to compete with others I walked with in this academic journey, but to patiently wait for the moment when God would use my life as an instrument and a testimony.
Maybe I wasn’t meant for local stages alone. Perhaps I was being prepared for a national platform—inside the country’s International Convention Center—where purpose meets calling,” sabi niya sa isang FB post.
