Nagpapasalamat ang pamunuan ng Tuao Vocational and Technical School (TVTS) Malummin Annex sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) at Schools Division Office of Cagayan (SDO-Cagayan).
May kaugnayan ito sa pagkapili sa kanilang paaralan maging benepisyaryo ng Free Wi-Fi for Internet Access – School Zone.
Malaking tulong ito, ayon sa paaralan, para mabigyan ng malakas na internet access ang mga guro at estudyante na siyang magbubunsod para makapagdala sila ng mas de-kalidad na pagtuturo at pag-aaral.
“Through this initiative, our learners and teachers are given greater opportunities to access online educational resources, enhance digital skills, and stay connected in an increasingly technology-driven world,” sabi ng pamunuan ng TVTS.
Ang mga hakbang na ito, anila, ay nakakatulung para lalo pang mapahusay ang teaching, learning, at service sa komunidad.
Matatandaang higit P3-bilyong pondo ang inilaan ng Department of Budget and Management (DBP) noong nakaraang taon para magkaroon ng libreng access sa internet ang mga estudyante at guro, lalo na yung mga “last mile” schools at nasa geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
“The President recognizes the importance of reliable internet connectivity in advancing digital learning—not just for students, but also for our teachers. Together with DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara and DICT Secretary Henry Aguda, we are united in fulfilling President Bongbong Marcos’ directive of providing free Wi-Fi for all,” sabi ni Budget Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman.
